Hafiz Uddin is the Managing Attorney at Dewan & Associates PLLC. Hafiz graduated from New York Law School in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, specializing in finance and also engaged in graduate studies majoring in International Relations at the City College of New York (CCNY). For more than 20 years, Hafiz successfully represented and handled a wide range of legal matters concentrating on all types of immigration matters (including family, business, investment, etc), real estate and business/commercial transactions. As a senior attorney with prominent and respected immigration and general practice law firms, Hafiz’s clientele and gamut of experience ranges from representing struggling individuals to major international level financial institutions (and/or their CEOs, executives and managers), hospitality industry and software/IT companies, engineering and construction firms, restaurants, diamond and textile/apparel traders, among others spanning the entire globe and across many diverse industries.

In addition to managing legal operations, Hafiz focuses on complex investment and business-oriented visas such as the E Treaty Visa, H-1B Specialty Occupation, the L-1 intra-company transferee and R-1 Nonimmigrant Religious Workers visas, among other non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters. Hafiz is also highly experienced with regard to all types of EB-5 entrepreneur/investor matters, including direct and regional center-based filings. Further, as a real estate attorney, licensed real estate broker and entrepreneur/investor for many years, Hafiz has successfully represented clients and has extensive experience with regard to a range of real estate and business transactions and recognizes the importance of aggressive representation, while balancing the need to protect a transaction and/or comply with other business requirements through innovative and creative strategies.
