To Everyone Interested in the Upcoming H-1B Cap FY2024 Lottery Registration:
Please note that the registration for the H-1B Cap Lottery is expected to begin on March 1st, 2023.
USCIS has implemented the electronic registration process for the H-1B cap. This new process will make the H-1B filing process much more efficient and cost-effective for employers. Prospective petitioners seeking to file H-1B cap-subject petitions, including beneficiaries eligible for the advanced degree exemption, will be required to electronically register and pay a $10 fee (USCIS may revise the fee) for each prospective beneficiary. This process will greatly reduce paperwork and data exchange and will provide overall cost savings to the employers. The electronic registration process will only require the basic information about the prospective petitioner and of each requested worker. The H-1B selection process will be run on properly submitted electronic registrations, and only those with selected registrations will be eligible to file H-1B cap-subject petitions. The registration period will be open for a minimum of 14 calendar days each fiscal year and creating an online account is easy. We encourage you to take advantage of this new process to make your H-1B filing experience as smooth as possible.
